Hardware & Industry News

- AYANEO Announces KONKR Pocket Block, Pocket AIR Mini IGS, and Teases Pocket Play: AYANEO’s latest Product Sharing Session just wrapped up after almost four hours, and there’s a good bit to unpack. On the hardware side of things, AYANEO announced two new products: the Pocket AIR Mini x Arcade Home Limited Edition and the KONKR Pocket Block.
- New GAMEMT E5 ModX Videos Show the Modular Handheld in Action: The E5 ModX first broke cover back in April, initially looking like just another addition to the GAMEMT E5 lineup. Recently, more videos have been shared, some by the @Royibeila account on Twitter, in addition to the promo video below shared over on the RH Discord by @jdewitz.
- Royibeila RG36B MAX Quietly Launched: Royibeila surprisingly unveiled the RG36B MAX on Twitter last week, looking rather similar to the likes of the R36 Ultra and R36MAX. It retails for $64.99, but with code ROYIBEILA05, you can save $10 for a limited time.

- Latest RG Vita Pro Update from Anbernic Brings the Google Play Store: Anbernic released a new update for the RG Vita Pro, bumping the software version up to v1.1.4. The update aims to provide system optimizations, “fix bugs,” and, more importantly, add Google Play support.
- GPDTool: GPD quietly released a new utility for its handhelds, aptly named GPDTool. According to the company, this will let you “fine-tune TDP, monitor performance in real time, lock frame rates,” and much more, without relying on alternative solutions.
- BattleShip v1.0: There’s a brand new port of Super Smash Bros. for the Nintendo 64, as BattleShip v1.0 is now available for download. Surprisingly, this doesn’t come from the Harbour Masters team, but relies on similar underlying technology (i.e. libultraship). BattleShip is currently available for Windows, Linux, and macOS.
