Hardware and Industry News

- AYN Odin 3 Portal Officially Announced, and It Looks Almost Identical to the Odin 2 Portal: Leave it to AYN to give us a surprise announcement while the community is still buzzing about dual-screen handhelds. No, we don’t have an AYN Thor 2 on the way or anything, but instead, the AYN Odin 3 Portal has been officially introduced.
- Anbernic Begins Removing Bundled microSD Cards From Its Storefront: It would appear that Anbernic is trying to avoid any legal troubles, following the company being named by the ESA as a “superfake.” At some point after the original story regarding the ESA’s request to the USTR, Anbernic began removing handheld “variants” that include a microSD card.
- Anbernic RG DDS Price and Release Details Leaked Ahead of Pre-orders: Pre-orders for the RG DDS have officially opened, with retail prices starting at $299.99 for the 8GB/128GB version or $364.99 for 12GB/256GB. For a limited time, you can save $15 on either model, and Anbernic expects to begin shipping in December.
