Earlier this month, we learned that Miyoo was working on releasing the Miyoo Mini Plus V2 and a new Miyoo Flip V3 with some substantial upgrades. At the time, the expectation was that the former would not be available until the “end of October.” However, it appears that Miyoo’s timeline was moved up a bit, as the Mini Plus V2 is now available to order from GoGameGeek.

Miyoo decided to keep things simple, as the only substantial change to the Miyoo Mini Plus V2 from its predecessor is an upgraded SoC. Previously, the Mini Plus was powered by the SigmaStar SSD202D, which is also found in the Miyoo Mini and Miyoo Mini Flip. However, the Mini Plus V2 has now been upgraded to the Rockchip RK3562.

As we stated previously, the RK3562 has only been used in a few handhelds, including the RG43H Pro and RG43V Pro. This offers a boost in performance that should make titles from the likes of the Dreamcast, N64, and PSP potentially playable. However, we would still temper expectations, as the Mini Plus V2 is only equipped with 128MB of RAM.

Nevertheless, if you want to grab one of these for yourself, all four color options are available and listed as “In Stock” over at GoGameGeek. It retails for $69.99, but if you use code RH15 at checkout, that price is knocked down to just under $60.

Oh, and if you’re still holding out for the Miyoo Flip V3, you’ll have to hold out just a bit longer as that one has appeared anywhere just yet.

  1. Leaving it at only 128mb of RAM kinda ruins the upgrade, no? I mean, the one big thing that you get that you didn’t have before, Portmaster, would struggle with so little ram…

And we’re all inundated with 3.5″ vertical devices with Portmaster and way more RAM to actually work well

What they needed to do was update the Miyoo Mini v4. Now that would be something truly unique. Only the A10 Mini fills that spot right now

And I feel bad for the people falling for the Miyoo Flip support bot song and dance for like the 13th time in a row… We’ve been here before, so many times, with so many alleged revisions that fixed absolutely nothing… Please, just discontinue that handheld so uninformed people stop buying it and getting scammed, and let’s move on…

    • So you’re complaining that the ram is too little for Postmaster.
Then you’re complaining there are too many handhelds with too much ram for Postmaster.
Then you’re complaining we don’t get a new Miyoo Mini V4.
And then you are also complaining about the multiple hinge revisions of the Miyoo Flip.

Kindly shu.t up and stop whining. Let Miyoo cook.

  2. meaning no onion os??! right?
controls and design is good with miyoo but QC always was a let down. non of my miyoo devices useable anymore for various reasons and I just gave up on them
