- AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2 is Apparently ‘Retro’s New Icon’: Almost a month ago, AYANEO formerly announced the KONKR Pocket Block, a pocketable vertical handheld powered by Android. This week, the company made a surprise announcement of the AYANEO Pocket MICRO 2, calling it a “Gen 2 Powerhouse” and “Retro’s New Icon.”
- Anbernic RG 55G1 Could Finally Bring Snapdragon Power and a ‘New Frontier’: Anbernic has announced a new handheld this morning, promising “A New Core,” “A New Frontier,” and a new naming scheme. The Anbernic RG 55G1 officially broke cover in a teaser trailer video on YouTube, and it might just be the company’s first Snapdragon-powered handheld.
- Lenovo’s Retro Handheld Returns as the “SUNYAO G02”: Remember the Lenovo G02? Well, when looking through AliExpress for some new deals, we discovered that it’s returned as the “SUNYAO G02,” and is available now.

- Starboard Finally Brings PortMaster to Android Handhelds: Thanks to a new app by the name of Starboard, you are able to play PortMaster games on Android. According to the website, all of this is made possible by Starboard creating a “genuine Linux execution environment on your device.”
- iiSU Alpha Brings New Features and New Visuals on Board: Following a bit of drama and a lot of time, the team behind iiSU has continued to chug away, improving every last aspect of the front end since last October, and now it seems to be their biggest update yet, with Alpha 0.0.7.2 now available to the public.
- Valve Expands SteamOS Support to Include Intel-Powered Handhelds and PCs: Recently, we learned that Valve has released the first packages for the ARM version of SteamOS. However, recent beta builds of the software are introducing support for handhelds powered by Intel processors.
