There’s no denying that there are already plenty of games on Steam to sink countless hours into, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t new ones to keep a lookout for. Steam Next Fest is a great way for developers to showcase games that are in the works and coming soon, with many of them offering demos that wet the palate.
The growing problem is that so many games are being released or announced that it’s practically impossible to find those “diamonds in the rough.” According to one Reddit post, there are more than 8,000 game demos in the latest Next Fest, more than double the amount of demos that were available in last year’s event.

With that in mind, I asked around in the RH Discord for some recommendations, and below, you’ll find just a few games they came up with. Plus, all of the games listed, with the exception of The Wolf Among Us Remastered has a demo available for you to try out.
