Oh hai, it’s your old buddy Zu, and I just got back from UGREEN’s big Smart Living Launch Event at Gillette Stadium. Three things came out of it: a new smart home ecosystem called HomeAgent, a wireless charging line called MagFlow, and a brand partnership with the New England Patriots. Maybe that’s why they had the event at their stadium?
Let’s tackle (get it?) the HomeAgent stuff first, because it has the potential to be really cool. UGREEN has been in the NAS business for a few years, but they recently decided that instead of paying a ton of money each month for cloud access, maybe people would want to buy the home hub themselves and never worry about another monthly Ring or Nest bill. Enter the HomeAgent HA100 and HA100 Pro:
The HA100 is the entry-level option. It bundles local storage, camera recording, and smart home control into one hub, and the AI features run on the device instead of round-tripping to the cloud. It runs on an RK3588, which makes me think someone is going to try and run RetroArch on this thing, has a 2.5GbE network port, and comes in at around 26 TOPS for local AI capability.
What UGREEN says it does:
- Voice control through Uliya, the assistant baked into the ecosystem. Device control, live status checks, event history, and custom voice notifications for things like a package showing up, a new face outside your door, or a baby crying.
- Local storage with no monthly fee. Files, photos, and surveillance footage stay on the box, and UGREEN says the core storage, security, file management, and smart home functions keep working on the local network.
- AI highlights. It pulls what it thinks are meaningful moments out of live camera footage and your photo library, and pushes them to a UGREEN app or your ePaper frame.
- Recognition and search. People, vehicles, pets, packages, alerts for unusual activity, event summaries, and keyword search across recorded footage.
- Matter support. This means most of your existing smart plugs or bulbs will integrate seamlessly.
The HA100 Pro adds faster networking (10GbE), upgrades to a 12 core ARM CD8180, and bumps the AI horsepower to 205 TOPS, which UGREEN says will enable heavier workloads, better semantic understanding, voice-based rule creation, and context-aware device control.
And then we have Jarvis at Home, the MasterAgent MA100.
The Master Agent runs on NVIDIA’s Jetson Thor T5000, and delivers up to 2,070 TFLOPS of local computing power. This chip is probably as close as a non-defense contractor can get to the neural net processor that runs a Terminator, so it’ll be more than enough for your entire home hub. There’s also a developer platform, so people can build their own packages or skills for it. Hopefully peaceful ones.

In addition to the AI hubs, UGREEN also showed off a variety of accessories.There’s an indoor camera, two outdoor cameras (wired and battery/solar), an ePaper frame that can last six months on a single charge, and a smart speaker for Uliya. Think of an Echo Dot for Alexa, but her brain lives in your house – not on an AWS server under a mountain somewhere.

The indoor camera had a variety of use cases, from a baby monitor, to sitting on top of a UGREEN-branded cat bed. The outdoor cameras had all kinds of bells and whistles, literally. If a stranger gets too close, you can configure it to give a warning first and then it starts blaring a siren and flashing lights.
In addition to the George Jetson stuff, UGREEN also unveiled their new line of wireless chargers. The MagFlow Pro Magnetic Power Bank 10000mAh 25W is a liquid-cooled Qi2 charger. UGREEN calls it the first of its kind, and it uses a micro-pump to circulate coolant to pull heat off the hot components of the charger and your phone. It has a transparent section called the Cyber Window where you can actually watch it happen, which is pretty slick.
They say the coolant will cut peak temperatures by 18°F, and cut overall temperatures by 44%, which is cool (get it?) if true. The last thing you want in your pocket or desk in the summer is an unintentional hand warmer.
Not satisfied with the power bank alone, UGREEN also upgraded their existing wireless chargers:
- MagFlow Pro 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charging Stand 25W. Qi2 25W with TEC active cooling and a 15dB fan, charging iPhone, Apple Watch, and AirPods together. I wish they had one available for Android watches, but they’re focusing on Apple for the moment.
- MagFlow 2-in-1 Foldable Magnetic Wireless Charger 25W. Compact dual-device charging, and the charger folds into a phone stand. Perfect for traveling light.

UGREEN also announced that they’ve entered into an official partnership with the New England Patriots as part of their overall push into the North American market. UGREEN products are currently available at a variety of retailers, from Best Buy to Micro Center. That’s a big shift for a company most people first met through an Amazon listing. Retail shelf space means someone can pick the thing up and turn it over before they buy it, and return it if things go south.
Pre-orders for the HA100, HA100 Pro, and MasterAgent MA100 open Sept. 3, 2026 through the UGREEN AIoT Official Store, and run until a Kickstarter campaign launches Oct. 27, 2026. During pre-order you put down a deposit starting at $50 to lock in some Super Early Bird pricing. If you don’t want to wait, the MagFlow devices are available now on Amazon and through UGREEN’s storefront.
I’ve applied for review units of the chargers and the AIot devices, so expect some videos soon. I’m really excited to see what the base model HA100 can do. I’m leery that they kind of named it Hal, but I am excited to be able to cancel my doorbell cam subscription at the same time I have full and unfettered access to the video files. And the HA100 is running on an RK3588, so maybe I’ll be the one who gets N64 running on it. Who knows?
