Chalk this up as being something I didn’t expect to see on a Monday. Earlier today, Supreme released a preview for its Fall/Winter 2026 collection, comprised of almost 70 different Supreme-branded products. Hidden in the midst was a familiar face, as the catalog includes a Supreme Analogue Pocket.
The listing provided says the following:
Metallic portable handheld multi-video-game-system. Unibody aluminum with 24K Gold-plated and custom red glossy finishes. Compatible with the 2,780+ Game Boy, Game Boy Color & Game Boy Advance game cartridge library. Works with cartridge adapters for other handheld systems. Built-in synthesizer and sequencer. MicroSD card reader at side. Custom logo LCD display and debossed logos at front and back. 3.5″ x 5.75″. Game cartridges sold separately.
Yes, you read that right: soon the Analogue Pocket will sport a 24K gold plating. I can’t help but think that it’ll attract dust faster than 3D printers attract Ban. Neither Supreme nor Analogue have said how much either of these special edition models will cost. But it’s probably safe to assume that they’ll set you back an arm and a leg, at least.
At the time of this writing, both the Black and White models of the Analogue Pocket are out of stock, and they have been for a little while. This is unsurprising, as it’s usually Analogue’s MO with the Pocket, and the longer spells usually come right before a new “Special Edition” is announced. Something tells me that this partnership with Supreme is a little bit different, but it would be nice to see Analogue bring back the GBC Colors or the Transparent Editions.
It’s kind of wild to think that it’s been almost five years since the Analogue Pocket was released, and we have yet to see a hardware revision outside of different shells. Or maybe the Pocket is just that good of an FPGA device that there’s not much of a need to implement any upgrades. All I know is that I’ll be afraid to see the price of this “Supreme Pocket,” whenever it’s actually revealed.
