  • AYANEO Raises Prices, and Hints at More to Come: AYANEO officially confirmed that it has raised the prices on many of its various handhelds in order to combat “rising costs of storage and memory components.” One such example is the KONKR Pocket Fit, which is now priced at $559 for the 16GB/1TB model, an increase of $130 over the previously listed price.
  • Retroid Pocket 5 Now Available in Two New Colors: Many have been wondering when Retroid might be announcing a new handheld. The company juked everyone out this week, as it made a new announcement, but only to introduce two “new” color options for the Retroid Pocket 5.
  • Anbernic RG Rotate Video Leak: The worst-kept secret in the Anbernic camp made another appearance this week, this time, in video form. As opposed to showing off gameplay, the video gives us a look at the built-in music player, with some positing that the RG Rotate might end up being more popular as a DAP instead of a retro handheld.
  • TrimUI Brick Pro Nears Release: Late Saturday night, we got our first look at the TrimUI Brick Pro packaging, which might not seem like a big deal. However, it provides a little proof that we’re inching closer to an official release. Not only that, but according to Kitsune on the RH Discord, it will sport a 3.95-inch display and come in three colors (Black, White, and Retro).

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 - ES-DE Home Screen
  • ES-DE Gets Massive Update, Including Xbox Integration and Much More: Despite its last update being five months old, ES-DE 3.4.1 was recently released, and it’s a doozy. The changelog is about a mile long and includes basically all of the new features you would’ve hoped to have seen to catch up with the current state of emulation.
  • EmuDeck Store Gives Retro Homebrew Games a New Place to Shine: About a year after its original introduction, the EmuDeck Store has been revamped in an effort to better showcase homebrew games for a variety of consoles. There are already almost 100 games to play, and we hope to see many more developers jump on board.
  • GameHub for Mac Beta Launch: Back in February, we learned that a new version of GameHub was in the works, this time for the Mac. While things have been mostly quiet since the original announcement, that’s no longer the case as the GameHub for Mac Beta is now available.
