Anbernic RG28XX

We’re all getting tired of waiting for Anbernic and Miyoo to ship their clamshell handhelds. In the meantime, both companies have launched their mini horizontal retro handhelds with the Anbernic RG28XX and Miyoo A30. We’ve already shared our first impressions of the RG28XX, and unlike the Miyoo A30, you can actually order Anbernic’s latest handheld. Currently, you can still save yourself a few bucks if ordering directly from Anbernic, but the RG28XX is also available on AliExpress.

GameSir G8 Galileo

Have you been trying to find the elusive “perfect” controller for mobile gaming? While the Razer Kishi Ultra might be enticing, the real answer is the GameSir G8 Galileo. This controller has almost everything you could want, and can even be modified to work with much larger devices. Seriously, the only thing missing from the G8 Galileo is rumble, but that’s not really a big deal. The best part of it all is that you can get this mobile controller from GameSir’s AliExpress store for about $67 with free shipping. That’s about $12 less than what you’d find elsewhere.

Powkiddy RGB10MAX3

There are plenty of us keeping an eye on what Miyoo and Anbernic are doing when it comes to the smaller horizontal handhelds. But if you need something a bit bigger and more capable, then the RGB10MAX3 from Powkiddy might be in your wheelhouse. It sports a 5-inch IPS screen, is powered by the RK3566, and according to Ban, is quite comfortable to hold. And if you’re in the market for a new handheld, the RGB10MAX3 can be yours for under $74 from AliExpress, which is a pretty darn good deal.

Anbernic RG35XX H

Shortly after the launch of the RG35XX Plus, the company followed it right up with the release of the RG35XX H. These are basically the same devices, but the RG35XX H is now a fan favorite thanks to its compact and horizontal form factor. While hunting for deals, I came across one for the RG35XX H on AliExpress that’s dropped the price to a mind-boggling $51 with free shipping.

MSI Claw

A pretty experience I wish lasted longer.

Intel has officially entered the x64 handheld arena with the MSI Claw. The design has clearly been inspired by the ROG Ally, save for a few changes to the grip and the backplate. For the first time since its launch, the MSI Claw can be had at a discount, as the Ultra 5 model is on sale over at Best Buy. Just don’t expect this to outperform the rest of the competition, at least not yet.

ASUS ROG Ally (Z1)

Over the past few months, we’ve been seeing some crazy deals on the ROG Ally, and Best Buy is back with another one. You can get the regular Z1 Ally for $100 off, bringing the price down to $399. It might not as steep of a discount as you may have been hoping for, but it’s still a fantastic price for an excellent handheld.

Silicon Power MicroSD Card (1TB)

Silicon Power MicroSD Card

Perfect for your Steam Deck

So you decided on which retro handheld deal you want to get. You’re probably thinking that the microSD card that comes with it will be fine. However, there have been too many horror stories about those microSD cards either randomly croaking, or corrupting all of the files. Don’t worry, just throw this 1TB microSD card from Silicon Power in your cart, and you’ll be good to go! Just make sure you transfer all of the files from the “old” card to this new one after your handheld hits your doorstep.
