MagicX originally announced that it was working on a new handheld dubbed the ‘Mini Dream’ back in August. Since then, we’ve learned that it will be available in four different configurations, along with a 3.3-inch OLED display.
Today, MagicX shared a few more details about the Mini Dream, which includes “full-device exterior design renders.”
Here’s the announcement that was made in full:
We have previously shared some information about Mini Dream. Here is the latest update:
Full-Device Exterior Design
Below are the full-device exterior design renders of Mini Dream.
AP Configuration and Pricing
- D7300
- 6GB + 128GB
- Wi‑Fi 6
- Bluetooth 5.4
- Price: US$179
Button Feel and Audio Experience
The shoulder buttons and function keys on Mini Dream use Japanese silent dome switches for quiet, comfortable presses. Combined with a highly resilient silicone mechanism, they deliver a smooth and satisfying tactile experience.
The dual-channel speakers feature a BOX-style enclosure design for rich, impressive sound.
As for the renders, here’s what MagicX also shared:

While the $179 price tag might seem like a tough pill to swallow, it’s still coming in cheaper than the KT-R2, which is the only other Dimensity 7300 handheld right now. If you can get your hands on the KT-R2, it starts at $199 for the 6GB/128GB Plastic model, so MagicX is hoping to do a bit of undercutting.
The downside to all of this is that it’s still unknown when the Mini Dream will actually make its way to the market. There are still three other models that MagicX has yet to share the remaining details for, but hopefully the Mini Dream AP is just the first domino to fall, with others to follow in short order.
