If there’s one company as of recent that’s been a bit curious in their designs, that’s going to be AISLPC. From CRT looking options like the R36T to futuristic widescreens in the RG52 Mini if you wanted something weird, wacky, or childlike (see RG43H Pro) then they were your company. Unlike most brands they haven’t really been dumping devices out on a monthly basis, it’s moreso been just whenever it is they feel like they have something that they want to share. And it seems like now is the time, as they’re back again, and this time with the AISLPC “Pocket AIs”.

Originally proclaimed earlier this week in the RH Discord by AeolusUX, the Pocket AIs was confirmed by, who I assume to be the representative for the company, GamelyZero just yesterday. This one really isn’t striking any of us new at the time just off of specs, but what I can say is that this one looks relatively normal. When it comes to specs we don’t know much but we do have the following.
- Rockchip RK3562
- Mali-G52
- 2gb Ram
- 4000mAh Battery
- 4.3″ 1024×768 Display
- Wifi Included
- Emuelec as Stock
- Black, Blue, White, Pink Colorways
If some of those specifications sound familiar, they should. Because on the RG43H Pro, we saw the same chip, same ram, same screen, same battery, same operating system. With the big difference being the inclusion of wifi, the new colors, and the more traditional look. Rather than cyberpunk, CRT, or looking like a fisher price handheld, the AIs looks more like the Anbernic RG406H, Pocket Air Mini, and TrimUI Brick Pro all got together and had a good time putting themselves into just one device. You’ve got a normal looking layout with proper grips, and a nice higher resolution screen like we’ve seen with the Brick Pro; though even larger now.
Personally, despite my concerns about stick placement and… that dpad. I’m actually curious to try this one. If you are too keep an eye out, as we’ll update things as we find out more. But at this point it’s just a matter of waiting and seeing what they choose to do.
