AYANEO released a video on the AYANEO Pocket Vert this morning. While not many additional details on the internal specs were shared, we were able to see several of the hardware components of the device, which share some similarities with the AYANEO Pocket DMG, as well as some specs on the screen being used.
What We Know

AYANEO Pocket VERT Side and Back View
The following hardware details were confirmed for the AYANEO Pocket VERT in this video:
- A CNC-machined aluminum metal body
- “Diamond-cut” shoulder buttons
- Side buttons, with one certainly a volume wheel similar to the AYANEO Pocket DMG
- A 3.5″ LCD screen, with a 1600 x 1440 resolution and 615 PPI
- ABXY buttons and D-PAD, seemingly bereft of any markings
- Three buttons along the bottom front of the device

AYANEO Pocket Vert Screen Details
The hardware details certainly seem to indicate that AYANEO is marketing this as a premium device offering, which isn’t far from their normal brand image. However, the metal body and “diamond-cut” shoulders feel even more premium than what AYANEO usually offers. The screen is also very nice, so be prepared for a high price tag on this one.
What We Can Infer

AYANEO Pocket VERT Shoulder Buttons
The AYANEO Pocket VERT certainly seems to take a lot of design inspiration from the AYANEO Pocket DMG. The body is strikingly similar, including the curve and placement of the back shoulder buttons and the D-Pad. The ABXY buttons appear to be a bit more spaced out than on the Pocket DMG, and also appear not to have any letter markings on them like the AYANEO Pocket DMG. We’ve also got a set of three buttons along the bottom-front of the device; the smaller two are likely our Start and Select buttons, with the longer button likely being a Menu button or, if it’s a rocker, Menu and Back buttons.

AYANEO Pocket VERT Side View
We also have a volume wheel and what appears to be either a button, a microSD card slot, or a fingerprint reader above. On the AYANEO Pocket DMG, there were two buttons for Back and Menu, but it appears to be one single button here. We can also see a larger/wider vent along the top-back of the AYANEO Pocket VERT, whereas the DMG had a smaller, circular vent.
The previously mentioned “diamond-cut” shoulder buttons also differ from the AYANEO Pocket DMG, as these appear to be a bit more angular and are clear in color. In fact, while it’s hard to tell about the top of the device, the bottom corners certainly look sharper than on the AYANEO Pocket DMG.

AYANEO Pocket Vert Discord and Website
AYANEO provided a final screenshot with details of their Discord, a QR Code, and their website link. No release or pre-order dates were shared by AYANEO in this video, but we’ll update you as we know more.
AYANEO has a reputation for “premium pricing” with their devices, and the way the AYANEO Pocket VERT was marketed in this video, I have a feeling this is going to be no exception. However, it does certainly look premium, and that screen looks to be potentially stunning.
