AYANEO is back with a brand-new and high-powered Android handheld called the Pocket S. Back in early February, we were talking about the announcement of this device. Today they announced that pre-orders are going live on their IndieGoGo with some perks of ordering early.

The AYANEO Pocket S

The Pocket S is releasing with the Qualcomm Snapdragon G3x Gen 2 chipset, 6000mAh battery, and up to 15W of performance. In addition, the screen is a 1440P (or 1080P) ultra-retina IPS borderless mirror screen. You can also change between 3 different performance modes with the click of a turbo button.

One standout feature of the device is the portable size, with dimensions of 213.9 x 85 x 14mm and a thickness of 14mm. In addition, the weight comes in at only 350g making it a great candidate for powerful gaming that can slip right into your pocket.

The Pocket S looks to have great build quality, coming in two colors, Obsidian Black and Ice Soul White. The face buttons are crystal-textured. In addition, the whole front of the device is covered with 2.5D toughened glass to help add some extra protection. Finally, there are hall sticks and triggers too.

Pre-Order Information

To start, there are 2 models of the Pocket S available, the 1440P Advance Edition and the 1080P Edition. Secondly, both editions have 4 different options as well. To make it easier, I included the price graph from their IndieGoGo page below for you to compare prices and options.

Pre-orders get you the early bird price, which is significantly cheaper than when it goes to official retail on IndieGoGo and even cheaper when it goes retail on the AYANEO official site.  The unmarked edition comes with a magnetic front case. Also, it comes with an AYANEO branded hat and coffee mug. Order from the IndieGoGo link below.
