With their recent announcement at Computex 2026, OneXPlayer is absolutely chugging away in preparation for a pair of new handhelds to come out soon. Both the OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro and the OneXPlayer 3 have their own Indiegogo pages now. The OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro, in particular, is signaling a launch of their campaign within the next 2 days.

OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro Specs

While initially speculated to house just the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 395, the Indiegogo page for the OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro notes the additional inclusion of the AMD Ryzen AI Max+ 388. Someone, please, tell AMD to shorten these names. Rather than the 16 cores and 32 threads of the 395, they’ve essentially chopped that in half, down to just 8 cores and 16 threads. The 388 still maintains the absolute unit of an 8060S GPU, but with fewer cores to feed, there may be more power to push as the present CPU cores or GPU.

Alongside the dual CPU choices now, the X2 Mini Pro features an 8.8″, native landscape OLED display that’ll be able to manage the 144Hz refresh rate it runs on, while hoping to last a bit thanks to the external 85whr battery. And if that isn’t enough, OneXPlayer will also include the option to purchase an external liquid cooling unit to help your CPU reach the ridiculous 120-watt TDP it advertises.

And since you’ll supposedly be spending a lot of money on the X2 Mini Pro, OneXPlayer attempts to add to its value pool by touting the X2 Mini Pro as a 3-in-1 device. Switch between tablet, handheld, and laptop modes thanks to the attachable keyboard, and use it as a Surface Pro Mini or similar. But if you’re planning to use the device as just a tablet, remember you’ll need to have the battery back attached if you want to watch videos like the image in the IGG page suggests.

While we’re now looking at a June 14th launch of the OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro’s Indiegogo campaign, we still hope to see the OneXPlayer 3 launch its campaign somewhere in the late June range, but until then, we can see just how much interest there is in these AI Max handhelds. Especially as the price isn’t quite out yet.
