Computex 2026 is kicking off with a bang, as Intel announced its new x86 gaming chipsets, with Acer and now OneXPlayer debuting new handhelds. Unlike Acer, which only announced the Predator Atlas 8, OneXPlayer is unveiling two new handhelds, with the OneXPlayer 3 and the OneXPlayer X2 Mini Pro.
The headliner of the two, at least for fans of Intel, is the OneXPlayer 3, which is powered by the Intel Arc G3 Extreme and Arc B390. These are expected to take the fight to AMD in terms of performance, not just on the CPU side of things, but also in terms of GPU horsepower.

Other specs of the OneXPlayer 3 include an 8.8-inch OLED display, with a native landscape orientation, and are equipped with HDR, VRR, and a 144Hz refresh rate. Not only that, but it also sports detachable controllers, offering an alternative to the Legion Go 2, which very few can seem to get their hands on, anyway.
As for the X2 Mini Pro, this was actually a surprise reveal last month, with the company posting a teaser trailer for the handheld over on YouTube. However, while not all of the beans have been spilled just yet, we do have a more complete picture when it comes to what’s under the hood.

Notably, like the OneXPlayer 3, the X2 Mini Pro is also positioned as a 3-in-1 device, as the company will be offering a detachable magnetic keyboard for both. The X2 Mini Pro also features detachable controllers, leading us to believe that there really isn’t that much of a difference between the two.
What sets these two upcoming handhelds apart is that the X2 Mini Pro is powered by AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ 395. Obviously, this is the same chipset found in the OneXPlayer APEX, GPD Win 5, and ASUS ROG Flow Z13 (2025), amongst other devices.

There are two other potentially-enticing features that might help sway you to the X2 Mini Pro, and that’s the removable 85Wh battery (like the APEX), along with support for OneXPlayer’s Frost Bay external liquid cooling system. With the former, you’ll enjoy a lighter gaming experience when removing the battery, provided that you don’t mind being tethered to the wall. The latter offers up to 120W “peak performance”, which is simply insane to even consider with a handheld gaming device.
OneXPlayer confirmed that both the OneXPlayer 3 and X2 Mini Pro will be arriving later this year, with Indiegogo campaigns set to commence sometime in mid-to-late June. On paper, all of these new powerful handhelds sound great, but since pricing has yet to be revealed, we’re tempering our excitement just a bit more than normal.
