Sunsoft’s favorite bat (no, not that one) is getting a fancy new perch. Aero the Acro-Bat Legacy + Sunsoft Lost Gems is a newly announced physical collection for PS5 and Switch, bundling classic 16‑bit era titles on a single disc or cart for Summer 2026. It is being handled by SelectaPlay, which published the excellent Arise: A Simple Story and the Blasphemous series.

The headline act is obvious: Aero the Acro-Bat, Aero the Acro-Bat 2, andAero the Acro-Bat: Rascal Rival Revenge all make the cut, covering the mainline circus platformers plus the GBA reimagining. The underrated Zero the Kamikaze Squirrel swoops in as well, along with two of Sunsoft’s more obscure Super Nintendo brawlers, Feudal Bros and Justice Ninja Casey, both of which only got proper localizations last year. For anyone who grabbed the digital reissues last year, this is basically the same family of releases stitched into one package.

The collection keeps the modern creature comforts that ports added: rewind, save states, galleries, and filters are all in, so you can tame Aero’s famously mean level design without having to prove anything to your younger self. Pricing will vary by region, but early listings sit in the budget physical range.

Whether you grew up renting these cartridges or discovering them on random ROM sets, there is likely still a new experience here to be had. After last year’s Aero re-releases, it felt like Sunsoft was testing the waters; this collection is the moment they commit enough to justify a print run and a surprisingly slick trailer.
