Mangmi Pocket Max Specs

The one detail that wasn’t released in this announcement, and arguably the most important, is the price of the Pocket Max. What made the Mangmi Air X so good was that it punched well above it’s weight price-wise, coming in at around $100. Having the same configuration as the Retroid Pocket Mini V2, we have a ballpark pricing model of around $200. There’s a lot of market saturation in this price and specification range, though, so it might be hard for Mangmi to find footing unless they can manage to price this a bit more competitively.

Moving Forward

With the increase in prices around memory these days, along with the Pocket Max now having an AMOLED screen and 8GB RAM, it’s hard to imagine that this device comes in under $200. If Mangmi can manage to release the Pocket Max at an attractive price, though, it could be another great option in the emulation handheld market.
