Jalanimal: Silent Hill 4

Silent Hill 4 on Odin 2 Mini

I had an issue with my Silent Hill 2 Remake preorder, so instead I decided to play a game in the series I haven’t yet. Silent Hill 4 is a bit of an interesting take on the series as it has moments of first-person point of view and you trying to figure out why you are locked in your bedroom. It is a great time for the spooky month and the Odin Mini can handle the HD textures I applied making it look great!

Derek: Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred

Diablo 4 on Lenovo Legion Y700 with Abxulte S9 Controller

I’m currently slaying demons in the new Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred expansion. I like to kick back on the couch and play using the Lenovo Legion Y700 paired with the Abxylute S9 controller, streamed from my PC using Moonlight.

Nick: Chase Turbo

Chase Turbo on Anbernic RG Cube

I’ve been streaming Horizon Chase Turbo via Moonlight at an aspect ratio other than intended. This game really translates well to any handheld that supports streaming, and it’s easy to jump into for quick play sessions during the week. Something about this modern ode to Outrun gets me to keep coming back.

Shawn: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom - Shawn

I’ve been playing Echoes of Wisdom in complete darkness on my Switch — docked, obviously. I’m not far at all, but the way you play this game versus any other Zelda game is so unique that the gameplay itself is addictive. I replayed Link’s Awakening before this, thinking the games would be similar, but the art design and both games featuring Link to some degree are exactly where the similarities end.

Dan W: The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles on the Nintendo Switch Lite

This week‘s my mums birthday which means an excessively long train journey. My chosen companion is the calming influence of this Phoenix Wright prequel. It is a gentle reminder of how good a device the Switch Lite is as a travel companion.

Zu: Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones

Continuing Moulder the Boulder’s journey to a broken AF Bishop for GOTY.

Cho: The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on Nintendo Switch - Cho

Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is amazing! What else can I say? It’s a Zelda game where you play as Zelda 🙂. It’s fantastic so far and the art style is top notch.
