The GAMEMT MTX is a handheld that’s been on our radar for the past few months, after it began randomly appearing on Discord and other social media platforms. Unlike the E5 ModX, which is a modular beast we’re still waiting on, the MTX is apparently now available to order from the GAMEMT website, and AliExpress.
What sets this apart from much of the competition is that, in addition to offering your standard gamut of emulation capabilities, the GAMEMT MTX has a cartridge slot. According to the website, the cartridge slot supports Game Boy Advance games, but we wouldn’t be surprised if Game Boy and Game Boy Color cartridges also worked.

Something else that makes the MTX a unique handheld is that it would appear as though this is the first to be released with the Allwinner T509 chip. According to previous leaks, the TR509 with its PowerVR GE8300 GPU is capable of emulating up to PSP at 2X resolution. If that’s the case, then we could have an impressive handheld at our disposal, even if it doesn’t have any sticks.
