Hot on the heels of the very premium Pocket S2, wallet assassins AYANEO have announced a new sub-brand of budget devices called Konkr, which aims to make their premium design language and years of expertise more accessible to hobbyists and newcomers to the community. During today’s 2026 Sharing Session, AYANEO’s ever-charming Arthur Zhang broke the news with his trademark enthusiasm, detailing the new company’s first two devices, the Konkr Fit and the Konkr Pocket Fit.
The Konkr Fit will be an x86 device, while its counterpart, the Konkr Pocket Fit, will be powered by Android. While AYANEO has not yet revealed specific pricing information, the company’s cheapest handheld to date was $179, so we can assume the Pocket Fit may try to compete in that bracket. They also shared that the x86-based Fit will be a smidge smaller than the Asus ROG Ally X, while the Pocket Fit will have a 6″ display.
The Pocket Fit will also have a 120Hz display and a Snapdragon processor. You can see screenshots from the announcement in the gallery below. So far, Arthur has only shown fans the Pocket Fit, but we’ve included a couple of slides with some further information on the x86 Fit.

For anyone who has been following AYANEO from the start, the naming structure of the new sub-brand also adds a further wrinkle to what many in the hobby would describe as a famously complicated brand approach. Today’s announcement only makes things murkier: they’ve named the new sub-brand Konkr, also.
So the question is, how will this redefine their corporate identity and product lines, or is this another example of AYANEO’s “whatever sticks” approach to branding? Whichever way you slice it, it’s a detail that left many of us scratching our heads.
As if that wasn’t enough, AYANEO also announced a new budget AYANEO branded device line called “Code R.” The Code R line will launch with a “white moonlight handheld accessible to everyone”, but its unclear what that is supposed to mean, and if “Code R” is exclusively going to be budget handhelds, or other devices, like their also-announced new tablet, controller, mini-PC and smartphone releases. One thing remains certain, though: AYANEO will not stop until they Konkr this hobby once and for all.

In the Chinese context, a white moonlight basically means (usually the first) person you fall in love with and can never forget
