Jalanimal: Tinykin

Tinykin on the Steam Deck OLED

I love RPGs and I really want to play a good JRPG with lots of grinding and turn-based combat. So naturally, I picked up this short puzzle adventure game called Tinykin. If I could describe this game, I would say it is heavily inspired by Pikmin while using the aesthetic of a Paper Mario game. It is a ton of fun just to explore the different levels in this one and HLTB says it is only 6 hours so I will feel good about myself to take a game off the backlog.

Bass Derek: Satisfactory

Satisfactory on the OneXPlayer

Have you ever wanted to work while on break from working? Satisfactory just launched out of early access with version 1.0 and is a fantastic factory-building game with a first-person spin on the genre. COMPLY. THE FACTORY MOST GROW.

Nick: Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow on the Powkiddy V10

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow for GBA on the Powkiddy V10. I’ve been chipping away at this one for twenty minutes on the couch after dinner every night. I can never keep track of this series outside SoTN so let’s just refer to this as “the one with the soulsets”. And it’s the perfect showcase for the V10, which I’m still smitten with for everything GBA.

rpg bill: Golden Sun: Dark Dawn

Golden Sun on the Surface Duo

Breaking in the Duo with the 3rd installment to RHs previous Game of the Year (Golden Sun, GBA) – Golden Sun Dark Dawn, Nintendo DS

Stubbs: Wave Race,Star Ocean Blue Sphere, and The Messenger

Wave Race,Star Ocean Blue Sphere, and The Messenger

Wave Race 64 on my 40XXV, the physics in this game are awesome! Also still working through Star Ocean Blue Sphere (switched to playing on my Surface Duo so I can have a guide on the top screen). Lastly playing The Messenger on my MSI Claw & Ally X!

Stealth1982: Breath of Fire 4

breath of fire 4

Capcom did no wrong with the art direction for this game, I’m also enjoying that I’m switching to play the antagonist of the game as well.

cricri: Dragon Quest II (SNES)

Dragon Quest II for SNES

Last of the duology included in the collection and last game I plan on this trusted system, at least for a while, before my second-ever handheld arrives mid-week. A very special handheld 🙂
