A couple of weeks ago, we reported on a new handheld that was coming onto the scene from an Indian company known as ARC. At the time we knew this was going to be a proper partnership with Qualcomm thanks to their original press release, and while we didn’t know a whole lot about it at the time, we knew it was going to be an interesting setup with its own customized Android OS known as OwlOS. Well fast forwards and it seems that ARC has finally got their specs list setup, and going off of that and the full design of the handheld, it seems they’re coming out swinging with their first handheld.
Thanks to ITVoice we’ve had a chance to see the full setup, and this one seems like it’s going to be a proper powerhouse in terms of experience and features. For the specs list you can get a good idea off of the list below.

As it stands thanks to the ARC website, the ARC X1 handheld will be going live as soon as October 2nd. With this being a handheld from an Indian market focused gaming company, all pricing is set for their region which is ₹29,500 for the early birds, and ₹33,500 at retail pricing. For those that are curious that lands somewhere in the $300-$350 range for US pricing. Out of everything, the thing I’ll be most curious about is what OwlOS is all about in use, but we can only wait and see. And likely hear about from the communities this handheld is being built for.
