It’s been quite a tumultuous couple of weeks for AYANEO, but it sure seems like the company is picking up right where it left off. However, instead of announcing new devices as it had been doing, AYANEO provided more details about the KONKR FIT and showed off a Pocket S Mini prototype.
AYANEO Pocket S Mini
This all occurred during the latest AYANEO livestream over on YouTube, which lasted for over four hours. Nevertheless, the good stuff starts around the one-hour and 40-minute mark, where Arthur starts trying to explain why we would need the Pocket S Mini. But he didn’t stop there, as it was announced that a Retro Power colorway would join the traditional Black and White variants.
Unsurprisingly, Arthur didn’t reveal the full spec sheet, but did share a couple of key details. Along with sporting a 4:3 LCD display, making it great for retro gaming “purists,” the Pocket S Mini will be powered by the Snapdragon G3x Gen 2.
That’s the same chip found in the original Pocket S, along with the Pocket DS, ACE, DMG, and EVO. As such, it’s kind of refreshing to know that there won’t be much to worry about in the way of emulation compatibility, and the older chip should help keep the price relatively low.
After showing off a bit of gameplay with the Pocket S Mini, including a comparison to the Pocket AIR Mini, Arthur moved on to the big kahuna.
KONKR FIT
It was originally teased back when the KONKR brand was introduced last year, but we now know more details about the KONKR FIT. First and foremost, we learned that it will run Windows out of the box, but I can only assume it’ll eventually gain Linux support via Bazzite or CachyOS.
The overall design is practically identical to that of the KONKR Pocket FIT when looking at the two directly. Naturally, that all changes once you start seeing the FIT from different angles, as it’s quite a bit thicker in order to accommodate the larger inner chassis, bigger battery, etc. Fans of the “Dragon Cheese” color options will rejoice knowing that this is also coming to the FIT, in addition to a Silver/Black/Red combination.
Again, Arthur didn’t reveal the entire spec sheet for the upcoming KONKR FIT, but shared a few specifics. Notably, this is set to become the first Windows handheld powered by AMD’s new Ryzen AI HX 470 chip. This was announced at CES 2026, but it is essentially the HX 370 from last year, that’s been slightly overclocked to surpass 3GHz speeds.
Beyond that, confirmation was provided that the first KONKR Windows handheld will also come with an 80Whr battery, while sporting a 7-inch OLED display.
AYANEO did not share pricing or availability details for either the Pocket S Mini or the KONKR FIT.
