The prices detailed below are pretty self-explanatory, but let’s run through them.

Retroid Pocket Flip 2 and Classic Price Info

  • For the Flip 2, the two variations have a price difference of $30 USD. The SD865 version (same chipset as the RP5) will go for $219, while the Dimensity 1100 (same as RP4 Pro) version will sell for $189.
  • The Classic is being sold in two configurations as well. One will have 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage and cost $114, while a 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage version will run gamers $124. Only the Classic 6 and Retro colorways will be available for those buying the 4GB + 64GB option, but all colors will be available for the 6GB + 128GB one.
  • Retroid also offers gamers a combination of both devices, but only for the more expensive of the two configurations. Gamers looking to buy the SD865 Flip 2 and 6GB + 128GB Pocket Classic can nab the both of them for $328 total.

Retroid Just Keeps Goin’

These past few days following Retroid have been filled with ups and downs. However, excitement for a sequel to the original Flip, and a return to form for the company, both being dropped at the same time, is the most welcome thing the company could offer its fans.

As far as the specs go, we still don’t officially know what 4mn Qualcomm chip the company will decide to use in the device, but we’re pretty confident in our guess that it will feature the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. Given the announced prices, that may be true.

Retroid Pocket Classic specs…mostly

We’ll have to wait and see how powerful the device will be, but the official chipset used in the Classic should be announced relatively soon. We should have a better idea of its capabilities prior to launch.

As always, Retro Handhelds will surely update you once any more info is shared.

Preorders will begin on March 17th, Monday, at 9:30PM EST.
