Adding another to the train of drip fed releases, the Mangmi Air Y and Y Pro have finally gotten their Pre-Order Pricing and Dates. Originally announced nearly a month ago, Mangmi unveiled not just one, but two handhelds that would be strong vertical options for those looking for something a bit cheaper than some of the alternatives. Since then we’ve seen the back through their sizzle reel, we’ve learned about the specs, and we’ve seen what this thing is really full of. The Air Y was even shown off in a Retro Handhelds livestream not too long ago just to give it a once over. But after a brief delay to make some fixes, the final information is here.

If you’re interested in picking up the Mangmi Air Y it’ll come in at different prices depending on which model you buy and when you buy it. Pre-orders start on August 12th at 7:00PM PDT, with the pre-order period ending August 15th at 7:00PM PDT. So if you want to save as much money as possible, that’d be the time to grab it.

  • Mangmi Air Y (3gb/32gb)-
    • $89.99 Early Bird Pricing
    • $94.99 Retail Pricing
  • Mangmi Air Y Pro (4gb/64gb) –
    • $145.99 Early Bird Pricing
    • $159.99 Retail Pricing
  • Mangmi Air Y Pro (8gb/128gb) –
    • $175.99 Early Bird Pricing
    • $189.99 Retail Pricing

These prices are pretty solid overall considering that the Air Y Pro 8gb model at retail comes in at $20 cheaper than a new Retroid Pocket 5, and $40 less than their own Mangmi Pocket Max. But if you don’t feel like you’ll need all of that ram, the 4gb model brings that price down pretty nicely. Again, if you’re looking to pick up the Air Y Pro, that pre-order will kick in on August 12th at 7:00PM with early bird pricing lasting for the next 72 hours afterwards. I definitely find this one to be a bit interesting, though the actual quality still remains a “wait and see” for me.

And if you’re looking for the full specs for the Mangmi Air Y lineup you can find that provided here as well.
