GeForce NOW is one of the pioneers of game streaming having initially entered its beta stages in early 2017. Three years later, in February 2020, GeForce NOW would launch officially, and now in 2025, the celebration of its fifth anniversary includes 17 titles hitting its library.

Game streaming is a relatively new area of gaming that many are still apprehensive about. The reliance on a decent connection and the inherent lag that occurs when a connection becomes unstable are the key components keeping some gamers at bay.

However, for some others, being able to stream their favorite games eases a burden that forces them to rely on storage space or, in that same vein, storage management. Larger games, like the Call of Duty franchise for example, can require gamers to free up upwards of 100GB to 300GB of space. With game streaming, the hassle of deleting games, managing saves, and having to worry about how many games can be stored on a device becomes less impactful.

GeForce NOW’s 5th Anniversary Titles

As shown above, the titles hitting the game streaming service range from new releases to some standouts that have made a name for themselves over the years. Games like Alan Wake and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII are older titles, but beloved ones that don’t necessarily require quick-time actions or advanced movements, while games like Abiotic Factor utilize the survival genre to toss gamers into a world that requires quick thinking and on-the-spot action making.
