Well, all of this happened rather quickly, didn’t it? After drip-feeding bits and bobs about its first clamshell handheld all week, we now know that AYN Thor pre-orders will commence on Monday, August 25, at 9:30 pm ET.

If you’ve decided to jump on the Thor bandwagon, then we’ve got you covered with all of the necessary links to the handheld and all of its accessories:

There will be a total of four different models to choose from, starting with the Thor Lite at $249, powered by the Snapdragon 865, and topping out with the Thor Max with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 at $429. In between, we’ll have the Thor Base and Thor Pro, pretty much lining up with the different Odin 2 and Odin 2 Portal configurations available.

It was also confirmed over on the AYN Discord that there will be a bunch of accessories for you to pick up to pair with your shiny new handheld. These include the likes of a TPU grip, a couple of carrying cases, a TPU shell, screen protectors, and even a lanyard.

Now that the product page is live, AYN also provided everyone with the full spec sheet for the Thor lineup of clamshell handhelds:

In addition to all of that, AYN also quietly introduced the new “Thor Control Center”, which provides quick and easy access to all of your important controls. However, unlike the slide-out menu that we currently have, this has been designed to work flawlessly with the bottom screen, which can come in handy while you’re playing Winlator or Switch games and need to make some performance tweaks.

As we said earlier, pre-orders open on Monday, August 25, at 9:30 pm ET, conveniently right after the RH podcast begins. From there, the AYN Thor will commence shipping sometime in “mid-October.”
