It didn’t take long for AYANEO to offer a response to the Odin 3, as the company revealed everything else that we needed to know about the KONKR Pocket FIT. Not only that, but the Indiegogo campaign is also now live, complete with a couple of surprises.

As we suspected, the Pocket FIT will come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, which we assumed to be the case given the teasers leading up to the latest livestream showcase. However, that won’t be the only option to choose from, as AYANEO is leaning on the Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 to potentially entice those who want a powerful handheld but for a lower price.

Before getting too far ahead of ourselves, let’s take a look at the spec-sheets for both processor options.

KONKR Pocket FIT IGG

For the most part, everything between the two models is identical, save for a couple of potential key differences. The Snapdragon G3 Gen 3 Pocket FIT features Bluetooth 5.3, and Android 14, whereas the Snapdragon 8 Elite version gets bumped up to Bluetooth 6.0 and Android 16.

Seeing Android 16 on the Pocket FIT is pretty impressive as it is, because usually we see new handhelds released that are at least one or two (if not more) Android versions behind. It also leads us to wonder whether the new Desktop Mode features in Android 16 will be accessible from the Pocket FIT, which would be pretty darn awesome.

Besides coming with two processor options, the rest of the specs are pretty much what we expected. However, there was one more surprise that AYANEO had in store for everyone, and that came when it announced pricing. The Snapdragon G3 Gen with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage starts at just $239 for the first week of the Indiegogo campaign, and will retail for $299.

What about the Snapdragon 8 Elite version? For the first week, the 8GB/128GB model is just $269, and it will retail for just $329. That’s $30 less for pre-orders than what the Odin 3 will be priced at when its Indiegogo campaign goes live, and $20 less than the Odin 3’s retail price.

Like the Odin 3, the Pocket FIT will have four different RAM and storage configurations, however, only the Snapdragon 8 Elite model will be available with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The G3 Gen 3 version maxes out with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

And as for pricing, we’re looking at a $499/$599 split with the Elite, and $399/$459 with the G3 Gen 3. Meaning that AYANEO is matching AYN when it comes to the “Super Early Bird” pricing between the KONKR Pocket FIT and Odin 3, but the latter will be $50 less for the retail price.

Last, but certainly not least, AYANEO surprised us by introducing another color variant into the KONKR Pocket FIT lineup, as the beloved B.Duck brand makes its debut. This is an all-purple color variant, with splashes of yellow and white being used to help the handheld stand out even more. This is only available with the Snapdragon 8 Elite, paired with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, and starts at $539 during the first week of the campaign, and will retail for $599.

AYANEO Message regarding Pocket S2 Backers

All of this talk about pricing might be making Pocket S2 backers feel a bit left out to dry. Since the announcement, AYANEO heard the grumblings and complaints and is hoping to make everyone happy by doing something that’s pretty awesome.

If you ordered the Pocket S2, AYANEO is providing its customers with a $30 voucher, free shipping, and a Pocket AIR Mini for free. Although we don’t yet know everything about the AIR Mini, it’s a pretty incredible gesture to just give its customers a brand new handheld for free. So if you fall in that category, you’ll need to send an email to se*****@****eo.com to “claim your gift.”

As mentioned previously, the AYANEO Pocket FIT campaign is already live, so you can head over and jump on the incredible prices before it’s too late.
