In case you haven’t been keeping up, the Retroid Pocket Nova has been the talk of the town this summer with its mortgage screen, and smaller form factor than a lot of the more powerful devices we’ve seen as of recent. If you ordered one of these on day one you’ve likely been sitting on a your pre-order waiting to see when they would ship. Or if you were like me, waiting for those real color photos to decide if you wanted to change your order around or now. Well as of today, Retroid has officially announced their shipping timeline.
Right off the bat, they’ll be shipping fairly quickly from today, as we move into the end of July. The 28th in the afternoon seems to be their starting date, and rather than produce all of the colors at once, they’ll be splitting it up every few days. The order as stated from Chris on the Retroid Discord is as follows.

- 16Bit
- Crystal
- GC
- Ice Blue
- Clear Purple
- Watermelon
Once they go through the whole batch, they’ll start from the top again. Chris has also stated that thanks to a dedicated assembly line, production of all preorders in the backlog should only take about 3 weeks. But if you want to get the extra back, and screen protector with your order, it would be better to order now as that freebie ends on August 1st. That being said, there’s still one concern in mind, and that’s the note about Qualcomm’s industry wide price hikes. That’s got everyone nervous, including the team at Retroid, but they’ll at least be keeping us up to date if prices have to increase due to the CPU rather than the ram and storage.
