It’s only been a couple of weeks since the last major Gamenative release, but the team over there has been putting in the work to keep the app up to date with new features, new wrappers, and new support for those of you that want to play more games than before. Unlike past updates, this one is specifically for the Gamenative V1.1.1 pre-release, but that usually means that the normal release is going to be right around the corner for those interested. For now though, the brunt of the new features are already in here, so if you’re interested be sure to check it out for yourself.

Like usual, there’s a ton to dig through with the latest release, but there are a few things that I think are worth mentioning. There is currently a build for Quest headsets, and XR devices if you want to sideload those on. This was added in the V1.1 release, but it’s absolutely had more time to cook since then. Alongside that, notes for Nexus Mod support , and new wrappers for Mali and Exynos drivers are both huge updates in my opinion. This will absolutely bring more compatibility to devices we all thought wouldn’t quite get there with the old drivers.

As always though, we look forwards to seeing what the Gamenative crew is cooking up for the future. If you’re looking to keep an eye out on what they’re doing, be sure to check their Github, or drop by in their Discord as well. As the app just keeps getting better with every release.

  1. Steam collections 👍
GameNative is great but with hundreds of games it’s not always easy to find the ones I’m looking for.

GameNativeOS would be awesome. Looking forward to try ArmadaOS, but I prefer to have Steam, GOG, Epic and Amazon games setup like in GameNative.
