In the USA, we are nearing the holiday of Thanksgiving. While we have a lot to be thankful for, I am usually thankful for that delicious turkey at the center of the feast. I live near a ton of farms, and our local farmers are cursing turkeys as they have been destroying their fields. This motivated me to list 5 games where you can take down turkeys!
South Park — N64
South Park is not a great game, but it is an interesting one. One of the main enemies in this game are turkeys. They are all over the place. You can take care of them with some snowballs and it feels good to do so.
Oregon Trail
I loved playing Oregon Trail as a kid. I would name the people in my party after people who had wronged me and watch them get Dysentery. The original game did not have turkeys though, but the newer releases did! So go out and hunt some turkeys and save your party so you can make it to Oregon!
Duke Nukem 2
Duke Nukem 2 doesn’t just have turkeys, but it also rewards you for shooting them! You try to earn 100 points and also get cooked turkey that heals you upon hunting them. So go play as Duke while listening to his awful dialogue and get some turkeys!
MiiTopia
Miitopia is such a weird, but yet fun game. Everything in the world takes the role of different Mii characters that you can either create or download online. The game has you going on an RPG adventure with these characters. One of the enemies you encounter? A twerkey. Yes, you read that right. This turkey has a plump rear that they like to show and back into you. Come on Nintendo.
Remington Great American Bird Hunt
Maybe you just want to simply hunt turkeys? That is absolutely an option in Remington Great Bird Hunt. You can even take advantage of the Wii’s motion controls to make it feel as realistic as it can. This is a good option if you want that old arcade machine feeling of hunting at home.
