It’s been almost a month since we last heard anything about the MagicX Two Dream series, when the company shared the different color options. In the wee hours of the morning, some of the “Core Specs” of the MagicX Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro were shared.

MagicX Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro Core Specs

The announcement comes courtesy of the MagicX Discord server, where the processors, RAM, and storage options were unveiled. The MagicX Two Dream Light will be powered by the ever-familiar MediaTek Helio G99, and will sport 3GB of RAM to go along with 32GB of storage. Meanwhile, the Two Dream Pro offers upgrades across the board with the Dimensity 7300 at the helm, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Between the last two announcements, the full picture is coming into view, with the Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro shaping up as follows:

Obviously, there are still a few questions left unanswered, such as the size of the battery, charging speeds, port selection, and, of course, pricing and availability. Regarding the price, all we’ve been provided with so far is a “fill-in-the-blanks” teaser from early February.

The Two Dream Light is shown as “$?9” with the Two Dream Pro coming in with “$1?5”. If I were to guess, I’d say that the Dream Light will cost either $69 or $79, and something like $115 or $125 for the Dream Pro. Then again, given the ongoing RAM and storage shortages, it wouldn’t shock me to see the more powerful Dream Pro priced around $145 or higher.

Unfortunately, we still have to wait for MagicX to share the rest of those details with everyone. On the bright side, I’m hoping that since more details are being revealed, we won’t have too much longer to wait before both the MagicX Two Dream Light and Two Dream Pro are released. Regardless, the $75-$150 handheld market seems to be the sweet spot for 2026, with options like the MANGMI Air X, TrimUI Smart Pro S, and even MagicX’s own One 35 already available. Meanwhile, the Anberic RG Vita and RG Vita Pro are expected to be released any day now.

If you’re like me and are excited for these to arrive, keep in mind that it might be a bit longer than normal. The company also announced earlier this year that it is “saying goodbye to pre-sales and marketing gimmicks.”
