Android handhelds are coming out at an ever-increasing pace, whether that be Retroid, AYN, or especially Anbernic, with its RG Slide being the latest. But now it looks like there’s another Android competitor entering the scene in the form of MANGMI. What they’re unloading is a Snapdragon-powered Android handheld that might be just what you need, if the price is right.
Airing Out the Specs
Their first handheld to be released is going to be the MANGMI Air X. We’ve seen pictures of it floating around as of recently, but now we’re getting the full specs to see just what we’re working with. Rather than go for the top, the Air X will be coming with a Snapdragon 662, which generally seems to land around the Helio G85 or Unisoc T610 in terms of performance. Though with a Snapdragon chip, support or compatibility may end up being better.
Alongside that, the MANGMI Air X will come with 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, a 5.5” IPS 1080p display, and a 5000mAh battery, all running Android 14. This combination of specs will hopefully mean a solid handheld that could take the place of other smaller handhelds like the Retroid Pocket 2S.
With that, the MAGNMI Air X will be produced in three different colors, including a Black and Orange, a White and Orange, and the all-encompassing Beige/Retro colorway everyone knows to expect at some point here in 2025.
And getting the bonus of having pictures of the MANGMI Air X from some other angles, we can see it’ll be getting some ergonomic grips that could make this a more comfortable handheld than what one might expect in this area of the market.
At the moment, we don’t know the price of the MANGMI Air X, but we’re curious to see what comes of it and will keep things updated as we learn more.

My 5 years old Poco M3 has the same specs, it can run up to PS1 and some PSP/DS games so I can’t expect much from this
